AATG North Texas Chapter Officer Meeting Minutes

Absent: none
Anja will contact the other Texas AATG chapters to determine interest in holding another joint meeting, possibly the weekend of November 6. She will report on this at our next meeting.
As Christoph will be going on sabbatical beginning in August 2016, new elections may need to be held to replace him as Vice President.
After discussing language in the Constitution regarding officers’ AATG membership and elected vs. appointed officers, officers approved the amended wording for the Constitution. (Officer descriptions will be posted on the chapter website rather than in the constitution.) Beth sent the constitution to members of North Texas AATG for a final vote.
Dana set up a “Curriculum Collaboration” page on the chapter website. Officers and members may send Dana blog posts, pictures, and files worth sharing (for instance, great lessons, skills, or a proficiency focus). Dana will then post the material on the website.
The next officer meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 9 at 8:30pm.

Present: Anja Jarboe, Christoph Weber, Madeline O'Bryan
Not Present: Beth Burau, Erica Erdman, Madde De Nicola, Dana Molnar
Those officers in attendance approved the wording of the new constitution. Once other officers give approval, Beth will send out the ballot to members via Google Forms. We will simply note the changes and ask members to vote yes or no rather than asking about each change individually.
Dana is planning to update the website this weekend.
Sandra Dieckman will represent our chapter at ACTFL this weekend in San Diego as none of us are able to attend.
The next major upcoming event is Winterfest (Feb 6 at Paschal High School in Fort Worth). Christoph noted that he does plan to attend Winterfest.
Our next meeting will be Wed. Dec. 9 at 8:30pm via Skype.
